The Corpus of Early English Recipes has a long tradition in our department since we began the compilation in 2002; although no financial support has ever been received from the Department. We have already completed the Early Modern English section (see some titles on the list below), but there are still other two subsections, namely Middle English and Late Modern English not finished yet. This compilation once published online will allow researchers to have a clear picture both of the evolution of the recipe as a genre, and of other language variables. This project has been partially funded by The University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the Centro Tecnológico para la Innovación en las Comunicaciones, and Gobierno de Canarias through a grant for a computer unit.
